Loose Leaf Reader
Support
Loose Leaf Reader on Mac and iPhone, through the App Store.
FAQ
What formats are supported?
DRM-free TXT, EPUB, and PDF. Import a file, drop one in, or paste a link to a PDF. Highlights and Stream mode work on TXT and EPUB. DRM-protected store purchases aren't supported.
Can I import a PDF from a link?
Yes. Paste a link to a PDF and the app fetches that URL directly on the device. Nothing goes to L8A.
Can I open DRM-protected store purchases?
No. Loose Leaf Reader does not open or remove DRM from store purchases. Use DRM-free files you already own.
How does iCloud sync work?
Optional. When you turn it on, sync uses your iCloud and is handled by Apple. Loose Leaf Reader does not require its own account and does not collect your library. Sync to iPhone is in testing, and this is not a claim that the library syncs everywhere.
How do I back up or restore my library?
Backup and restore are built in so you can keep a copy of your library and move it with you. Prefer a backup before major device changes.
Which platforms, and do looseleaf:// links work?
Mac and iPhone, through the App Store. A looseleaf:// link opens a book or a spot in Loose Leaf. The app handles it on the device.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@l8a.dev with your Mac or iPhone model, OS version, app version, and what you expected vs what happened. Attach a short screen recording if you can.
